Our Services
Soft Tissue Therapy
The perfect therapy to guide healing and resolve stubborn muscle tension
Improve healing after sprains and strains
Relieve muscle tension
Remove scar tissue from muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia
Adhesion Breakers are stainless steel tools used for Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (You may have heard of similar tools, such as Graston Technique, gua sha and FAKTR tools). This system of healing has been used for centuries in Chinese medicine to remove scar tissue, reduce pain and improve healing in muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. Adhesion Breakers are used to create localized pressure and friction where adhesions and scar tissue have formed. This is one of many myofascial release techniques that guides the inflammatory process of healing so that damaged tissue can be replaced with organized healthy tissue.
Chiropractic Care
The primary goal of chiropractic care is to restore and enhance the health of the patient through the use of hands-on techniques, without the use of surgery or drugs. Treatment focuses on areas of reduced joint motion, soft tissue injury and pain. Your chiropractor will use a variety of techniques to assess, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate your injuries or problem areas. She will also discuss how to prevent recurrence of your condition and will recommend exercises, stretches and lifestyle modifications to enhance your long-term health.
Chiropractic adjustments:
Chiropractic manipulative therapy, also known as an adjustment, is a gentle and safe way to restore movement in almost all joints of the body. The goal of the adjustment is to improve joint function, reduce pain, and get you moving and feeling your best.
An adjustment involves a quick light force that is carefully applied to a joint to restore proper mobility. Your doctor will determine which type of chiropractic adjustment is suitable for you based on your condition, your age, your bone health, and your personal preference.
Pregnancy and Webster Technique
Providing mothers-to-be with the special care they need throughout pregnancy.
Safe, gentle, effective treatment throughout pregnancy
Relieve back, neck and joint pain
Relieve sciatica and pubic symphysis pain
More women are now choosing chiropractic care for a safe approach to a healthy, drug-free pregnancy. Women often experience discomfort during pregnancy due to hormonal changes, postural strains and pelvic imbalance. The Webster Technique is used to assess and treat pelvic misalignments, which can create tension in the pelvic floor and uterine ligaments. Gentle releases are used to restore balance and stability to the pelvis and spine; this reduces pain and improves comfort during pregnancy, from beginning to end. Chiropractic care is safe for baby and mama. Dr. Foot is Webster certified and treats many pregnant women. Her primary concern is ensuring that both mom and baby are safe and comfortable.
