What to expect
History Taking and a Focused Physical Exam:
During your first visit (45-60 minutes), Dr. Foot will ask you questions relating to your current condition and will review your past health history.
A physical exam, including an orthopedic and neurologic assessment will be performed. She will assess for imbalances or injuries in the joints, muscles, and nerves to identify the cause of your symptoms.
Report of findings:
In most situations, Dr. Foot will discuss her findings and provide you with a diagnosis during your initial visit. She will recommend a treatment plan specifically designed to meet your needs and will explain what you can expect to feel during and after the treatment. In some situations, further tests, such as X-rays may be necessary before treatment can begin. On occasion, Dr. Foot may feel that another method of care is more appropriate for your condition, in which case, she will refer you to a trusted colleague to ensure that you receive the best possible care.
- If you have any X-ray, CT or MRI reports, please bring them with you.
